Module 6 (In Person - SCS & CE) - Wetlands, Flood Planning, Land Usage

Description

CE and Required for SCS: Attendees of the course will become familiar with the concept of wetlands and their status in Delaware including how wetlands are defined, the types, benefits, sources for identifying wetlands on properties, and the regulations that surround them. In addition, attendees will be introduced to the Delaware Flood Planning Tool web resource and floodplain community assistance, compliance, and training issues. The presentations will conclude with an understanding of the Tax Ditch Program, information on DNREC’s beach management tools.
